About me:

This Human Condition is Jamie Jamal & Misterminchie an electronic duo formed in Bristol (UK) in 2015, blending many different styles including house, synth-pop, trip-hop, dubstep, trap, even calypso. Performing at Glastonbury Festival in 2017. They describe themselves as ‘Handbag Punks’ creating an electronic pick n mix. They have been described as Early Depeche Mode meets a darker Erasure. Their track Psychotropic was described as The Prodigy meets Boy George. Tom Robinson has played 3 of their tracks including, Rise, Night is Gone and Normal on his BBC6Music BBC-Introducing show as well as reviews on his Fresh On The Net website.  DJ Rusty Eagan has championed This Human Condition from the start and played them several times on his radio show. Releases include ‘Rise’ EP (2015) and ‘Project Zero’ LP (2016) (Funded by 2 successful pledge music campaigns) Singles include Telepathic Heights (2016) about the Bristol riots in 2011 in Stokes Croft and Breaking The Code (2017) about enigma code breaker Dr. Alan Turing. The duo released 2 EP’s and a single in 2018.  A new Release Normal (Mixes) was released in January 2019. This Human Condition kicks off a tour of the UK throughout 2019 on February 2nd with Nature of Wires, Fourth Engine and Sombre Moon.

How I Got Started:

I first decided to take my music more seriously while watching Stevie Wonder at Glastonbury Festival in 2010. I Joined Bandmix and met a few musicians and started rehearsing, writing original songs and performing at Open Mic Nights. I later joined a Songwriters Circle and tried writing a few songs for other people, that’s where I met Jason. We decided to form an electronic duo called This Human Condition With our first release being Rise in January 2015. We have been releasing our original music ever since. Music is everything to us.
